It’s been another incredible experience for ButtonTimer® as we re-cap our second big showing at the 2007 World Series of Poker Gaming & Life Expo. The overall turnout was not as big as last years, but the excitement and the buzz was as strong as ever.

The biggest news of course, is another unknown coming out of no-where to take the 2007 World Series of Poker main event. 39-year-old psychologist/social worker Jerry Yang from Temecula, CA beat out his final opponent, Tuan Lam, to bank the $8.25 million pot and earn a place next to last year’s unknown, Jamie Gold. An impoverished child in the mountains of Laos, Jerry did years of doing God's work as a missionary to pinching pennies as a father of six to afford buy-ins at poker games over the last two years. He didn’t do so well in our hourly poker tourney, twice busting out. More on our hourly tourney later. Yes indeed, God works in mysterious ways!

We added to our newest celebrity sightings and autographs from Chris Ferguson, Humberto Brenes, Robert Williams III, Men “The Master”, Phil Gordon, Jennifer Harmon, Chris Moneymaker and Shannon Elizabeth. Oh, we almost forgot Jose Canseco. How can a big guy like that not get recognized by our President is beyond this staff writer! Scroll down and checkout our Hall-of-Fame ButtonTimer® gallery.

This year, we cornered two booths right at the front of the convention entrance. And like last year’s location, we had scantily clad ladies at the opposite booth. Not to be outdone, we were giving away a free professional poker 1000-piece chipset, free COPAG cards, and of course, a free ButtonTimer®, all beautifully packaged in a clear, see-thru acrylic case, valued at over $200.00. Unfortunately the pole dancers were not packaged the same way. Second prize was a free ButtonTimer®. And, we were giving’em away every hour. Suffice it to say, we had a crowd with anxious players, waiting around our professionally made 10-seat ButtonTimer® poker table to get a chance to win the grand prize. Amongst those anxious players was eventual 2007 WSOP champion, Jerry Yang. He signed up twice to play in our free hourly tournament, both times proved unsuccessful. He couldn' t win the chipset, but somehow managed to win $8.25 million. Way to go Jerry! Sorry ladies, chipsets beat out two-pairs this time around!

Not only did we sell three times as many ButtonTimer orders as last year, we practically sold-out our latest t-shirt designs. If you didn't get the t-shirt at the expo, don't worry, you can buy'em here online. Our apologies for running out of Suicide Jack, and Suicide Queen. ButtonTimer® fans, look for our ad in the official World Series of Poker Tournament Program Guide and upcoming poker magazines. Lastly, we’ve added to our list of casinos who are using our ButtonTimers. So visit your local casino’s poker room to see the ButtonTimer® in action.

To recap, it was an overall, amazing experience and fun times to be had by all. We want to thank all of our customers, tourney winners and fans at the expo who visited our booth. Hey Jerry Yang, you're more than welcome to try our tourney again! Without you all, we would probably be doing some kind of missionary work in the mountains of Laos. We also have new and exciting plans for our ButtonTimers®. So look for us at your local casinos and of course, at the most anticipated annual poker event, next year’s '08 WSOP expo!
